ABC recently announced that they’ve ordered 13 episodes of Pushing Daisies. Pushing Daisies is produced and directed by Bryan Fuller (Heroes, Dead Like Me) and is a romance-crime drama. It will air in the fall of 2007, taking the 8/7c Wednesday Timeslot.
In the show Pushing Daisies, a pie maker named Ned has the ability to bring dead things back to life temporarily. With good intentions he helps an investigator solve murder cases by getting information and names from the dead. Things get complicated, however, when he brings back his childhood lover Chuck from the dead and struggles to keep her alive, because if he touches her, she will die.
